This Heaven & Earth Sobachoko Cup “Rock” is inspired by the theme of sky and earth, expressing the structure of igneous rock in a bold and artistic way.

The design depicts a cross-section of rock formed by various minerals, interpreted in a playful and modern style. The base uses clay mixed with iron powder, creating a rich, textured surface. Partial glossy overglaze is applied on a rough, unglazed body, resulting in a complex contrast of matte and shine.

Each piece is crafted using advanced overglaze transfer techniques layered on different clay and glaze bases, achieving a unique hybrid ceramic expression. Subtle imperfections such as tiny pinholes or slight paint irregularities are part of the material’s character and are considered acceptable within production standards.

Suitable for use as tableware or as a decorative container.
