Product Description

The Moomin Haru Serving Plate is part of the Haru tableware collection, designed in a calm blue and white color palette inspired by the Finnish archipelago.

The Haru collection pays tribute to Tove Jansson, creator of the Moomin stories, and reflects a blend of Finnish and Japanese cultural aesthetics.

The plate’s shape is inspired by the rounded stones and rocks shaped by the sea around Klovharun Island, where Tove Jansson spent her summers. The surface is decorated with a delicate ink-blue wreath motif, based on illustrations drawn by Tove Jansson celebrating the unique nature of the archipelago.

The Haru collection includes a range of tableware pieces such as plates, bowls, mugs, and chopstick rests. Its soft and calm design adds a refined yet playful atmosphere to table settings inspired by the world of Moomin.

This porcelain plate is designed with practical functionality, allowing stackable storage, and it is suitable for microwave and dishwasher use, making it convenient for everyday dining.
