On the back is a highly detailed embroidery of a hot rod-style O-11A American LaFrance fire engine, used by the USAF beginning in 1952. The bold “CRASH RESCUE” lettering honors the elite fire and rescue units trained to respond instantly to jet fuel fires and plane crashes.
